This a project with Cana Communities. To design a book that represents a special commemoration for the organisation’s 40th anniversary. It tells the story of the organisation over the years and keeps the names of the people in the Cana story. The book raises awareness of the organisation’s activities, it celebrate life and shares the experiences of its members, volunteers and supporters. Together with the book design, we also developed a series of postcards to promote the publication, suggested the adoption of a chalk board at all Cana communities locations – to allow people to ‘make their mark’, set up a blog and Facebook pages to incorporate those stories that were not included in the book. The blog and Facebook also create spaces for sharing new stories, anecdotes and images.
